Bye Laws in relation to Presentation and Collection of Household and Commercial Waste Effective from July 1st 2009

If you are in doubt ask to see their Waste Collection Permit. This will be issued by Dublin City Council.

You can dispose of your waste correctly by bringing it to your nearest recycling facility. Many items are free of charge like electrical goods, fluorescent tubes, batteries, paints, and waste oils. There is a cost for some bulky items but the cost of correct disposal is far cheaper than a €3,000 FINE if convicted.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and Woodbrook Glen

The committee of WGRA make regular representations to DLCC officials and elected members in order to ensure the delivery of services to which we are entitled.

Over the last number of months the Council, and especially the Roads and Parks departments, have been very active in our estate.

The council has been involved in:
i) Tree planting and tree replacement

ii) Regular grass cutting
iii) Road sweeping and road washing

iv) Scrub clearance / tree pruning in the Valley to the rear of houses on the Drive. This work should allow for a big improvement in the quality of life for everyone on that street.

Monthly meetings are being held on the last Thursday of each month in the Cois Cairn Community Playgroup. Issues of concern can also be notified to the committee by email to:
